How to Use:
Start
in center of face and blend outward with Foundation Brush or
fingertips. Blend evenly for smooth, natural-looking coverage.
For a seamless look, dampen fingertips and blend edges, especially along
jawline.

Even skin. Light coverage.
This is my favorite foundation. I have been using for years. I love the fact that it evens out your skin tone while still being light and semi-sheer. I want something that helps me feel beautiful - not like I am wearing a mask. This is that for me. BUT where is it? Are you discontinuing this line? It has been sold out for months. That's either very poor inventory planning or you're phasing it out. I have been using my last jar so sparingly, skipping days, saving it for something special. With quarantine, I have been able to do this. If you are discontinuing it, just let us know. I won't bother continuing to try to hang on until stock arrives.

Not for me
Initially, I was content with the Superbalanced formula. It was more runny than my usual foundation but I had run out and this was what I had available. Unfortunately, after repeated use, the skin around my eyes became red, puffy, and sore. I was at a loss as to what would cause it but after contacting my doctor, he said that it was dermatitis probably caused by makeup. I have never had this problem before with any other makeup product, including Clinique ones, but after I stopped using it, the problem area healed. I was disappointed with the results, especially as this is one of Clinique's more expensive formulas. It makes me nervous about buying from them again in the future.

The BEST
I've been in the cosmetics industry for over 23 years and this is my Ultimate go to foundation. I'm 50 years of age, have oily skin, and have a ruddy undertone. This covers beautifully, and looks like nothing on your face. People actually compliment me on my complexion how radiant it looks and that is the best feeling. I have a slight oil breakthrough by the time Im about to remove this at night, and it doesn't change colour or break down upon wear. Does it get any better than that? Thank you Clinique for creating this gem in a bottle!

Balanced Look
I began using the superbalanced foundation in 2014 for my high school graduation. The only makeup before my high school grad that I wore was the high impact mascara and that was it. Since 2014, I have used this foundation almost daily. My face looks put together and when I take my makeup off at night, there isn't irritation from the foundation. I have dry combination skin and this used with the universal primer and the moisture surge pairs really nicely to not make my skin look flaky throughout the day with the foundation applied. I recommend this because it works and maintains a balanced look throughout my face and because my skin doesn't flake with dry skin with this foundation.

a real surprise
I don't know how this foundation has flown under my radar for so long. I think it has to do with my one con with this product - the shades, I see they've extended the shades but the very fair shades still run too peachy for me. This can be adjusted with some powder, etc and it's not uncommon, but a very fair neutral-yellow shade would be great. Otherwise, this foundation looks very flattering on the skin. It gives an even, smooth, satin - almost porcelain doll- look, but without the heaviness of a full coverage. it's kind to dryness and smooths over large pores well. Applies easily, even with fingers, and wears very nicely. Very natural light- medium coverage. Lent it to my sister to wear to a wedding and she loved it also! I'm going to give her my bottle and see if I can get a better shade match for myself.

Excellent formula - tough to find a colour match!
I love the formula of this foundation. My preference is light to moderate coverage and I prefer to keep my SPF separate. I mix this with a bit of my DDML and it's a dream. That being said, it was tough to find a colour match. I've a light olive complexion and despite being "matched in person a few times, none of them worked IRL (Light, Fair, Breeze, Ivory .. all fails). On a whim, I ordered the Cream shade and voila - perfect. Please don't stop making this, Clinique!

Best foundation
I have been using Clinique products since I was 17 years old. I am now 53. I still LOVE the Clinique foundation.I have tried other 'foundation and have always come back to Clinique. I highly recommend it!

my makeup for years
The makeup person at the Hudson Bay counter recommended it to me many years back. I am glad it is still available to buy. It looks very natural and smooth on my skin. I just bought alabaster again and I am still happy with it as I was 15 years ago.
